ITINERARY
Day 1: (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays)
Arrival Minangkabau International Airport (MIA) early morning and transfer to SMA's flight to Rokot, Mentawai at 9.30am.
Tiger Air arrives midday so will not connect with SMA on their current schedule. This is subject to change so please check.
Air Asia from KL arrives Padang at 0830 so connects with SMA:
- 09.30 am take off from Padang
- 10.15 am landing Rokot, Mentawai
- 10.30 am motor boat transfer to Katiet takes approximately 2.0 to 2.5 hours depending on the sea conditions.
- You travel in the lee of Sipura island protected from open ocean swell.
- 12.00 am arrive at Lances HTs Villas and check in.
Those joining the flight will spend the night of DAY ONE in their villa at Katiet.
OR (Every Sunday and 1st and 4th Thursday of each month)
At 5.00 pm you will be taken to Bungus Harbor where to board Ambo Ambo ferry.
(Add US$75 one way per person - arrives Lances before lunch on Monday or Friday)
Day 2:
Guests traveling on Ambo Ambo arrive Tua Pejat early morning Wednesday then transfer to an inter-island ferry to Siban to meet our Motorboat. The boat ride will take about 2 hours. Check into your villa at HTs Surf Resort , have lunch and surf till dinner time. Check our wave guide for details of these and other top Mentawai breaks.
Day 3 to 13:
Lances HTs Villas is located directly in front of one of the worlds most perfect and consistent Rights. Your air conditioned villa and the dinning room and bar have a perfect panoramic view of the wave and the blue lagoon just a few steps from your plunge pool and terrace.
Rooms are large and beautifully furnished. Speedboats* give you access to the legendary Lances Left break just across the peninsular ..... or take a jungle trek overland and see these waves the way Lance Knight did 20 years ago.
With just 4 two room villas, you will be sharing this beautiful place with a privileged group in a relaxed and private environment. This wave machine can deliver an astonishing number of perfect barrels every day.
Day 14:
Return to Padang on Ambo Ambo ferry overnight. (add $75 per person one way for this option)
OR
Stay one more night and fly back to Padang on SMA on the morning of Day 15 (add $200 per person one way for this option)
Day 15:
Arrive Padang at 5 am and our staff will take you to the airport, your choice of city hotel* or to Villa Air Manis* depending on your flight schedule. (*extra charges apply). Your tranfer to the airport is included regardless of where you stay.

Arrive on SMA about 11.30am to connect to Tiger Air flight to Singapore
INCLUDED
Airport greeting and transfer service in air conditioned mini bus or sedan on arrival and departure.
- 3 meals per day in resorts

- Free self served tea, coffee and bottled water
- Use of non powered water sports equipment
NOT INCLUDED
- Travel and medivac insurance
- Over-night transfer options on SMA or Ambo Ambo, Padang > Mentawai > Padang
- Guided use of speedboats for surf, fishing or photo excursions
- Meals and accommodation on the mainland or in transit
- Air Tickets or costs associate with missed flights or conections
- Alcohol, tinned or bottled drinks
- Fresh ground filter or percolated coffee
- Medications.
*Speedboat access to Lances Left will be charged at $15 /person/trip.
*Trips to surf breaks more than 6 nm from the resort will be charged at $25 per person/hr running time with 4 persons minimum.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Longer packages can be booked by adding nights on land or on Live-Aboard boats.
- Any additional transfers between resorts cost $100 per person.
- Exclusive trips on Live-aboards by arrangement.
- $3/day Mentawai Tourism Tariff + $2/day MMTA Community Development Tariff will be added to the rate advertised at checkout.
- Optional $75 per person Padang supplement overnight at Villa Air Manis or $35 per person half day while waiting for evening transfer to Islands.

25% deposit* to confirm booking
*Deposit is non-refundable but transferable to any future booking (within 2 years of receipt)
75% balance paid 60 days prior to booking date and is non refundable.
